Ooo. Nice repaint! I tried taking this figure and modifying her, replacing the claws with arms in a bid to try to make something Wonderlandish -- I wasn't really sure where I was going, but I ended up giving her a heart scepter, thinking of making her an alternative "Queen of Hearts" (though obviously not following Tenniel's form). The end result really didn't work well, though, so wasn't worth taking a picture of. I might go back some time and give it another attempt, but I suppose it would help if I would figure out WHAT I want to model first, rather than just making it up as I go and hoping that a viable adventure/story will come out of it afterward.
The claws, incidentally, I ended up putting to use fixing up a creature for a friend's Tyranid army that was missing a couple of arms/claws.
If I ever get another one of these to repaint (in another "grab bag" Dreamblade deal), I think I'll probably just try painting it "straight up" with claws still intact, and just try to figure out a story from there.
For instance, it could be a really horrible pun. Like, say, make her "Mrs. Claws," combined with an equally horrific "Santa Claws," for some sort of twisted Christmas adventure. She IS dressed in suitable-for-the-holidays red, after all. I'd just have to add some white "fur" trim, and maybe a token bit of holly.
