Description
It's 1890 and Atlantis has reappeared. Once the major colonial powers have recovered from the tsunami, they all leap upon Atlantis in one big diplomatic "YOINK!" Naturally, conflict arises.
Fortunately, heavier-than-air flight was discovered in 1871.
Constructed from styrene and craft sticks. Figures by Reaper Miniatures.
This is the H.M.S. St. George and its escort craft, last seen May 14th 1890 over the southern Atlantis jungles.
These won a bronze medal at the 2010 Reapercon painting competition, in the Ordnance category.
These were previously posted separately, but I decided to consolidate with the (much better) picture of them taken at Reapercon. Photo is by Michael Genet at the Reaper Miniatures facility.

Splendid! I need to try to tackle something like this eventually, so I can have something for running a "Red Sands of Mars" scenario. (I mean, I just don't know how I could live with myself if I didn't run a scenario with AIRSHIPS in it. ;D )
